The New Mexico Insurance Division includes several Bureaus. Each Bureau has a responsibility to the consumer, the Legislature, or to the insurance industry. Their mission is to assure easy public access to reliable insurance products that meet consumers’ needs, are underwritten by dependable, reputable, financially sound companies that charge fair and reasonable rates and are represented by trustworthy, qualified agents, while promoting a positive competitive business climate through a caring and qualified staff.
